There are no employees permanently assigned to this division. All Public Works employees are required to respond to snow and ice emergencies to keep the Town's roads passable and safe during all types of winter emergencies. Town-owned parking lots and sidewalks are also cleared by these employees.

During inclement weather, the Town may enact the Snow Emergency Route Plan. This prohibits parking and abandoning vehicles on specifically named streets in town to allow snow equipment to more efficiently clear the roads.
